CMMC is, despite the turmoil in Congo, continuing to offer life-sustaining aid during one of the world's largest current humanitarian crises. Outlined below is the story of one woman who experienced this--and it changed her life.

After her husband was tragically killed in the war, this woman had no place to turn, no family around, and no clothes for her increasingly sick baby. Finding herself in Goma, after fleeing the war alone from a village in the Masisi territory (roughly 30 miles away) she felt completely lost and alone in the city of 1 million. However, upon finding herself at the doorstep of CMMC, she was given free food, medication, and clothing for herself and her child. Crying, she said that, "You saved my baby's life. God bless you."
